The act of nepotism has always been what divides men to degenerate into wars and unrest even in politics it is everly present. When the division occurs, it means no growth will be present because a person growing in the midst of thousand or undernourished people is same as the others.
It is true the centralised system has failed the human society. It will be better now if somehow resources are shared between a group of undivided people. This will result in a collective and exponentially growth.
The politicians, most of them, do not even know what politics was originally about. It is now a race to feed theirs bottomless pit-pocket and give crumbs to those they represent in power!
