We're excited to share that the 10kei beta version is in its final testing phase before release. Once it clears testing, it will be available to all of you. Today, we're here to provide a concise overview of the NFT shoes and consumable items available in the VIP mode leading up to the beta launch.
As mentioned in our previous post, 10KEI offers two modes: PRO mode, based on step counting, and VIP mode, which utilizes GPS for accurate tracking of users' location and speed.
In the VIP mode, users can personalize their experience with unique NFT shoes tailored to their preferences, unlike the PRO mode. Whether you're a casual walker or an avid runner, there's something for everyone to enjoy! Here's a breakdown of the NFT shoe types:
- WALKER: For users walking at speeds of 1-7 km/h
- JOGGER: For users walking at speeds of 5-12 km/h
- RUNNER: For users walking at speeds of 8-20 km/h
- ALL ROUNDER: Suitable for everyone walking between 1 - 20 km/h
Users can select shoes based on their preferred speed range to optimize their experience with the 10kei app.
Additionally, 10kei NFT shoes come in various grades and possess unique attributes. Naturally, higher grades and attributes yield more rewards. Let's delve into the attributes:
- Durability: Decreases with each step. If it reaches zero, you can't walk. Repair items restore durability.
- Luck: Affects points earned and item acquisition probability while walking.
- Comfort: Influences the rate at which stamina decreases. Higher attributes result in slower stamina depletion.
- Greed: Higher attributes increase Kei points earned.
These attributes vary based on the shoe's grade and level. Speaking of grades:

Common → Uncommon → Rare → Unique → Epic → Legend.
In addition to these, we have special item grades: Ether and Hidden. While both exist across all grades, they offer unique effects. For example, a Common(Ether) grade shoe provides higher attributes but cannot be repaired once durability is depleted. Conversely, a Common(Hidden) grade shoe, though rare, offers significantly higher attributes and can be combined with other items.
Each shoe grade has a maximum level, but we've introduced mechanisms to raise the max level of Common grade shoes by combining shoes of the same grade and level.
Now, let's touch on consumable items:
- Repair items: Restore shoe durability.
- Buff items: Temporarily boost shoe attributes.
- Attribute scroll items: Randomly alter attribute values of NFT shoes.
- Enhancement items: Increase shoe levels.
These items can be acquired through the item shop or various events.
In summary, we've provided an overview of 10kei's NFT shoes and consumable items. While not all features may be available in the beta, they will be accessible in the official release. To access all NFT shoes and items, VIP mode is essential. The beta release is slated for March, pending final testing.
