I can really relate to that. I used to thought the same when I first heard about crypto. I think we are slowly moving towards mass adoption, but there are still a lot of myths and misconceptions about crypto that drive a lot of people away.

Personally I think it is going to take a lot of people using it in some form before it penetrates their understanding.
It is just like the Internet. You couldnt explain it to people, they had to experience it for themselves.
