Earlier today I liquidated an investment I had in a fund that was earning around 4% a year. When the money is available in a couple of days I'm going to bring it over to Hive, convert to HBD and lock it in Savings.
I believe this is a better investment for that capital.

100%. You get interest monthly and a yearly return of 10% is way better than 4%. Moreover, you own your funds.

It certainly a much better deal than the traditional institutions are giving.
Buy near $1 and one will be fine over time.

Yea 10% is definitely better than 4%.

It is something that is hard to ignore. Hopefully you have enough to move over to offset the exchange fees. However, once it is there, you will earn more plus probably have opportunities at better returns over the next few years.

Yea, I think it's still going to be worth it, even with the fees

By the way, wait until the price of HBD drops.

What about buying HIVE and doing a conversion into HBD?

Sounds like an excellent plan. HBD savings accounts have some pretty impressive annual percentage rates.

What's the APR?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
HBD in savings increases at 10.00% APR as defined by the witnesses [block-producers]. —Quoted from my wallet on peakd.com.
Brackets were added by me, @sgt-dan, to clarify the term, witnesses.

As long as HIVE doesn't go to zero, then you're safe ;)

True! And I don't think that's going to happen

Highly unlikely, LOL. Well, unless the internet-destroying-virus from Russia gets released early

4% seems pretty small. I'm sure Hive would offer much more.
