Well it's a bitter sweet ending but I finally closed my TRON position. I wanted to do it right after the STEEMIT debacle but I just couldn't sell them at a loss.
3 cents was my average cost. We hit a week or so ago but I got greedy and was hoping it would go higher. Woke up today at the 3 cent mark again and just couldn't resist.
I've been taking gains on a few of my long term shitcoin hodls too. Christmas is just around the corner and my cousin is getting married next month so the extra money will come in handy anyway.
The market seems to be lacking the excitement we had in the last rally especially around the altcoin market. We've seen some of the major players in the top 20 rise with the bitcoin price. I've dipped into a few of those positions taking some gains off the table. WAVES and LTC mostly. We could see further growth there though and I still believe in both projects.
For the most part I'm using this rally to clean up my mess from 2018 till now. Getting kicked off Binance for being a US resident was a huge blow to me and I had shitcoins all over the place in wallets and shady exchanges all over the world. That mess is almost all cleaned up.
I learned that shitcoin wallets that constantly need to be updated probably aren't going to usher in mass adoption anytime soon. Having coins all over the place was a huge eye opener in a lot of ways. I can't imagine the bullshit some of these smaller exchanges have to deal with on daily basis around wallet maintenance.
I've been looking for a few coins in the top 100 that haven't pumped yet. I added a little to a SiaCoin bag. I still believe in that project and there is so much development going on. Fantastic usecase too.
I'm watching the price of BTC closely. I'm confident we're going to at least touch that ATH. Till we get in that range I'm just looking for setups that I think will rise with the king. I'm looking at some of the projects from 2018 and 2019 and deciding what I want to hold and what I want to dump.
Anyway, I'm loving this rally. Feels good to make some trading cash at this level again.

i had a couple junk machines running VMs for shitcoin wallets , but it just got to be too much BS baby sitting junk machines and screwing with 'maybe compromised' funky softwarez.
i got some SC - would love to play with the code/network but just not in the right place to that right now.
being in the US is a pain - it's like our own country f***ing hates us and wants us to stay poor - stupid regulations and bullshit.

Absolutely. Couldn't agree more. I've still got a couple wallets I have to figure out this week.
The US needs to shit or get off the pot. This is the inevitable future of finance and instead of supporting the industry they're doing everything in their power to make life difficult for people in the industry.
Ripple wants out of the US. I mean they're pushing innovation out of this country. It's incredible.

I've been converting a nice fraction to HIVE too. I'm starting to build a nice wallet on exchange for trading and adding a little HP each month on HPUD.
