We were analyzing Gold 3 days ago, we found it at the $1710 support with a lot of bearish pressure, after the bulls could not recover the $1750 area.
The bearish scenario we had proposed was fulfilled to perfection, breaking $1710 and falling to the strong support at $1680, where I recommended taking profits.
1-hour candles
Price had formed a bearish pennant pattern visible on 30-minute candles which confirmed a possibility of price falling back to $1680 and possibly breaking support.
The support has been strong enough and the bulls have managed a short-term rally to the $1730 area again, as we see on the chart above.
However, the bulls will need to position above the bearish channel trend line and support at $1750 if they wish to maintain their long-term trend. In case of a bounce to the downside, the downward pressure will increase, which may take gold back to the support at $1680, and perhaps this time break it.
1-hour candles
From my point of view there are two possible scenarios:
Scenario 1:
A break above the resistance line of the bearish channel and the resistance at $1750 could trigger a trend reversal in Gold in the medium to long term. The bulls would take control.
Scenario 2:
If the price does not achieve the target of scenario 1, we will see a high downward pressure and most likely the price will fall back to the support at $1680.
Recommendations:
I think we should stay out of the market until gold decides its course. I would not enter to the upside until I see scenario 1 completed above $1750. Should I see scenario 1 not achieved, I would sell with targets at $1680. Price action and volume will tell us the information we need to know when to enter the market.

Estuvimos analizando el Oro hace 3 días, lo encontrábamos en el soporte de 1710$ con mucha presión bajista, luego de que los toros no pudieron recuperar el área de los 1750$.
El escenario bajista que habíamos propuesto se cumplió a la perfección, rompiendo los 1710$ y cayendo hasta el soporte fuerte en los 1680$, donde recomendé tomar las ganancias.
Velas de 1 hora
El precio había formado un patrón de banderín bajista visible en velas de 30 minutos que nos confirmaba una posibilidad de que el precio cayera nuevamente a los 1680$ y posiblemente romper el soporte.
El soporte ha sido lo bastante fuerte y los toros han logrado un repunto en el corto plazo a la zona de los 1730$ nuevamente, como vemos en el grafico superior.
Sin embargo, los toros deberán posicionarse por encima de la linea de tendencia del canal bajista y del soporte en 1750$ si desean mantener su tendencia a largo plazo. En caso de rebotar a la baja la presión bajista aumentara, lo que puede llevar al oro de nuevo a el soporte en 1680$, y quizás en esta ocasión romperlo.
Velas de 1 hora
Desde mi punto de vista existen dos posibles escenarios:
Escenario 1:
Un rompimiento por encima de la linea de resistencia del canal bajista y de la resistencia en 1750$, podría provocar un cambio de tendencia en el Oro a mediano - largo plazo. Los toros tomarian el control.
Escenario 2:
Si el precio no logra el objetivo del escenario 1, veremos una presión bajista alta y muy probablemente el precio caerá de nuevo al soporte en 1680$.
Recomendaciones:
Opino que debemos mantenernos fuera del mercado hasta que el oro decida su curso. No entraría al alza hasta no ver el escenario 1 completado por encima de los 1750$. En caso de ver que el escenario 1 no se logra, vendería con objetivos en 1680$. La acción del precio y el volumen nos dirán la información necesario para saber cuando entrar al mercado.

So you're just going to chill until you know the direction, that's a good plan. If it breaks through 1680 I'm going to buy some coins.

Correct mate, I will wait for price action. If it drops below $1680, I will probably buy in physical.
