Investigation of employee misconduct incident

On December 7, 2025, an internal audit team received a report alleging an employee used insider information to post on an official social account and obtain personal gain. A preliminary investigation was launched and the following findings are shared

Verification shows the employee was linked to a token issued on-chain at 05:29 UTC on December 7, and less than a minute later used the token's text and images in a tweet from the organization's official account. These actions constitute abuse of position for personal gain and violate policies and the code of professional conduct

  1. Actions taken
    Immediate suspension: the employee was suspended and is pending further disciplinary measures

Legal accountability: relevant authorities in the employee's jurisdiction have been contacted; cooperation will continue and appropriate legal action will be pursued in accordance with applicable laws

  1. Bounty reward

The organization reaffirmed a commitment to transparency, fairness, and integrity, stating zero tolerance for misconduct. Internal controls will be strengthened and policies refined to prevent recurrence

The verification and de-duplication process was completed for valid reports submitted through the official whistleblowing channel. A total reward of USD 100,000 will be equally distributed among the following earliest valid whistleblowers, who will be contacted directly via email:

Some reports shared publicly on external platforms were noted; however, the reward applies only to valid reports submitted through the official channel
