Should you compromise with government?

There's a really simple, logical if/then equation on making deals with regulators, prosecutors, legislators, etc.:

IF: The outcome would result in more total liberty

OR: The outcome would be liberty-neutral, but you value liberty in one area more than another

THEN: Make a deal

ELSE: Don't

If you don't understand this, and either always compromise or never compromise, you end up losing liberty time after time. Acquire more/better liberty.

That's why it's a moving target.

And I don't want to hear any more-anarchist-than-thou voices pretending like they don't constantly compromise.

Let he who is without bank, fiat, government ID, taxes, etc. cast the first stone.
