In the early days, we all knew what this was about: freedom for the human race.

Many of us are still here, still working.

Here's me paying in Bitcoin at Matt's restaurant (first public one to take Bitcoin in all of New Hampshire) 11 years ago.

#crypto #bitcoin

Sort:

How many bitcoin did that cost you back then?

I must've spent 0.2 BTC or more.

madness. were were all crazy back then.

Yes, but in a good way. I'd do it all over again.

Thats not bad for the time!

Awesome!

Does Matt's restaurant still accept $BTC payments?

No he sold it many years ago, he works full-time in crypto now.

How many BTC did you pay? Want to know how much that meal cost you.

It's possible you might have set some record the world needs to hear about.

It was probably around 0.1 BTC.

My first Bitcoin was 0.15 or so reimbursement for a pizza in Chicago, that was September of 2013.

I gotta role with the big boys. 10k for breakfast.

That's something.

100% sure it's some record

Everyone was doing that around that time, it's probably not special.

Bitcoin and other cryptos have value today because people gave them value through such purchases in the early days.

I spent Dash when it was $7 per coin, and when it was over $1,000. Same thing.

It makes a lot of sense to me

Good data! Bitcoin is the best crypto for payment or the most popularity. $HBD have this adoption :)
