When it was presented to me, the people doing it didn't tell me how to buy it, just talked about the mining, and they also told me it was illegal to mine it in my country, but you could still do it...
I was interested on buying it, not mining but those idiots just scared all of us saying it was illegal lol
Yeah, even today, many people are still telling us crypto is illegal because our government do not support it.
Here in my country it is legal. The illegal part was because the mining farms stole electricity 🙄 so they didn't even explain it correctly
Here, the government are placing stringent regulations on any crypto related businesses and yet they called it a scam.
Happens a lot because they take it as if crypto were a company and people are promised revenue, while crypto is more like a casino. Every user is responsible of their luck, nothing is granted.
I ran an online poker forum. A member tried selling bitcoin in my open chat box. I booted/ banned them. One year later that same user creates a new account to once again get me and others to hold BTC. I once again boot/ ban them, whoops.
it's amazing how BTC that was once thought to be scam now dominate the entire space.
