For me, it's never been about trying to build wealth. It's always been about trying to get out of the system by having and creating a new parallel economy. That has pretty much failed at this point. I have found a small subset of people that actually do want that in the Monero community, which is really what bitcoin should have been from the first place, a private peer-to-peer currency. The problem is that gamblers came in and took over the space and turned it into just another sector of Wall Street. So now I really wonder if it is going to fulfill its true purpose at all.
