Good stuff man! That's a good point about the closed source tech while getting public funding from the DHF. I was considering a proposal to help me fund making these Wordpress plugins, but the politics behind the DHF is so stringent that instead of open sourcing, I might just sell the plugins on the Hivelist Store as a digital download for a few HBD each and call it a day, lol. I don't know, I am not apart of the 'club' and see how hard of a time you guys have getting funded that I am like, nah, not even worth it.
