It’s hilarious listening to jungle/drum and bass on commercials, mainstream radio, massive festivals, etc and back in the day we were having to break into warehouses and steal power to throw raves in the late 90s/early 00s, 😂
My crew actually threw the first Imagine Festival in Birmingham, AL before it was basically ripped from us by one of the investors and moved it to Atlanta, GA where he eventually went bankrupt because he didn’t know what the hell he was doing, lol. Karma’s a bitch.
It’s been interesting to live through it and be involved in watching things like electronic music, crypto, etc to grow and flourish.

Hell yeah! You were even before me, lol. I went to my first warehouse party in like 97 when I was a ripe young age of 15, lol. Started DJing and was playing out by the next year in clubs I wasn't even old enough to legally get into, lol. The fever hit me hard, lol, but learned to scratch on break beats because I had to play more of that in the 'clubs'. The real raves, I was into the hard and dirty, lol.
