Awesome episode champs. We had a great time for sure. Hive is most definitely the present and future of #Web3. We have 5 years building and counting. Our time will come anytime soon.
It is clear now that the rosy crypto days are over (at least in some parts of the world). Regulation is catching up and will try to even upend the entire blockchain technology (like in Europe). Not sure if everybody can just leave their country to escape this, but at least it still remains as a final option.
can we have a list of countries where web 3.0 is likely to survive? :p
This is a HUGE problem. This is also why speculators don't do any good for crypto, even if they encourage the volatility a lot of us often profit from, they ultimately don't care about stuff like this until they stop getting money...then they move on to speculating on something else.
We need true crypto enthusiasts to lobby for crypto, to make sure some freedoms remain. A lot of crypto guys, because they've gotten away with a lot, think it will be like that forever and that is not the case. And you might think that because blockchain is more secure your money is safe, but it really isn't. You'll end up giving that money up in exchange for 10 years instead of life behind bars if you don't get involved now.

Anyways, they banned me but they done absolutely nothing for a person who is cyberstalking me, dude made 8 accounts on Twitter just to make contact and annoy me. And I keep on reporting him, while they just ignore. So their policy about all of this is a complete joke.
I think Elon Musk doing things randomly as he goes, doesn't mean that he doesn't plan, he just takes it as a bet and let's go., He said that himself, multiple times. Justin Sun is an ass, my opinion verified, I have a badge and I am still blocked by him.
Elon Musk listed price paid in cash, so I am not sure why do you think he doesn't have that sort of a money on himself, he might have a lot of crypto for example...
I will comment as I go , whoever wanna take a topic under what I wrote is very welcomed. To me all the stuff Elon listed as a change holds a lil bit of an insult to the Twitter as a company. I find those things extremely entertaining.
For me personally, about shifting powers left to right, and about US politics included in all of that... to me it is incredible that a company with a headquarters in US, is not required to follow the laws of that country or at least have a minimal degree of respect towards their foundation.
It is not that they have backend shadow ban and suspension, but for what they applied it, and what abusive principles they follow. CEO of Twitter is paraga, in my opinion he is narrowminded dictator.

As for being decentralized, Twitter would only work if there is a full decentralization not governed because governed is safe and works good for small volume communities not to get hijacked by some rich oppressive asshat, but for a huge thing and for the stuff Elon Musk wants to build, that requires a lot ( of changes).
And for pay to text, there is no doubt that big majority will not have a voice on a platform or it will be abused by rich companies.

Hive bonds should make this fact less impactful on the ecosystem by doubling the sources of inflation and making passive investment more lucrative than the crab bucket.
I can't wait, but the core devs seem less enthusiastic, source @18min, expressing a preference to wait for the next fork, which could be closer to 2 years from now.

I Condemn the actions of twitter of blocking pioneers without any solid reason. If anyone have 20,000 followers, It means he is respectable in community and he can't do anything against rules then blocking him without any solid reason is worse for community and twitter itself also and also break hearts of pioneer followers.
