Rafiki's answer is very inaccurate by the way. There's someone on my curation trail with about 180000 HP and votes of about 50-60% are giving out $0.60.
To get a Hive upvote worth $0.50 at current Hive price of $0.10, you'd need about 300 Hive Power (HP).
