I hate streaming companies restricting content based on location... to make things worse, I can't seem to bypass Prime Video block not even without a VPN.... it detects that I'm using a VPN and asks me to turn it off... does anyone know a trick to make it work?
Go to the pirate site and watch the show/movie.
It is amazing but these restrictions/blackouts and limitations of content people are paying for is actually pushing people to the illegal sites.
I see this with MLB. People are complaining a package they paid for has game blacked out so they go to the open seas sites.
Ahoy matey.
Yea fuck it, I'll do that... I tried to be a law-abiding citizen but these companies keep throwing bullshit like this
UP-ANCHOR, time to sail
If VPN doesn't work, I can't think of any "legal" way to bypass it.
I understand the licensing issues, but I feel the copyright laws didn't keep up with the age of the internet.
yea very true
Did you use a Free VPN or paid VPN? Usually, less companies blacklist paid VPNs.
Free... that could be it
ALthough I've read reports of people having the same issue with paid ones.
But might give it a go
Free VPNs are always abused by many people, paid ones let each IP be used by a smaller circle of people so there's a chance they don't blacklist them. (Then again, it's not a huge chance.)
