Wow! I had no idea that such a project existed! This is exactly the reason why I believe in blockchain technologies and Hive, specifically. This is really bringing change to where it's most needed.
The idea of having a charitable foundation setup as a DAO is a great one. I've been involved with a charity in the legacy financial system and it can be a pain. Even that is awfully complicated in the current system and it's yet another thing that Hive can fix.

It would cut out a lot of the extra expense (and corruption) that comes from middlemen.
So it is an idea that I believe has merit. We will have to see how far it goes.
