Yeah they are young when drafted.
That is why it is so hard. Hard to tell what a high school kid will turn into.
Do they go to college while playing minor leagues or something like that?
No they are either pros or amateur. If they go to the pros out of HS, like Nimmo, then they skip college. Others like Alonso go to college.
