I think this post gives a strong picture of why Hive feels different from other crypto platforms. From my perspective, what stood out most was the human side of the wallet, instead of long, confusing addresses. You can just send tokens to someone’s name. That makes it both simple and secure.

I agree. The Hive Wallet is part of a consistent theme of human interactions by name.
The wallet having your name, your blog having your name and the UI using your human name, instead of a 23 place blockchain address are all keeping in the consistent theme of human to human interaction, like Bitcoin was designed as a Peer to Peer interaction, but pseudoanonymous, but here is can stull be pseudoanonymous but with human readable names.
