Agree one of the best choice for this time is to hold some stable coins. Though it is tempting to buy the dip, we do not know on when we will see the sudden surge again the price.
What I realized on my failures on trading is to moderate my greed as most of the times I am not that well versed and just go with the flow.

Yeah agreed. It happened to me several times. I invest during a dip and the price goes further down. There have been instances where the price never recovered back. But we can still give it a try on coins we know very well.
