    But in order to qualify for prizes, doesn't he need to be at 100 HP already?

      Thank you again for pointing that out! I was so fixated on how much he powered up that I didn't think to check his total HP, and you're absolutely correct - he doesn't met the 100 HP requirement, so I'll edit my comment to reflect that. Much appreciated, @justclickindiva!
