Greetings, Citizens! :)
Normally I buy card(s) almost every day, depending on the needs/ resources.
As I'm progressing in the game, a lot of Job Centers were needed, so my homeless and immigrants could be trained every day.
I have now 96% of daily training chance, which can be also doubled sometimes by the current President of dCity via 5% Jobs tax! ;) In this way I can also get 2 cards converted to Worker(s), Artist(s) or Scientist(s) daily...
So now it seems...
I'm going to need another Basic Home card which gives me +4 population & with my city's popularity bonus I'm gonna get even more extra citizens:
The price of Basic Homes is much lower in SWAP.HIVE, so I'm going to exchange some SIM tokens on Hive-Engine! ;)
And here is the final result:
Now there is just 1 unemployed, reducing my SIM income by -1, which is not so bad, because the Basic Home I bought gives me +1.
It is more balanced in this case, than having the need to hire people. Before that my Job Center wasn't actually functional, because of not having 5 workers for it!
Nice update post and thank you for sharing. I think it is time to start playing this game as i wanted to do so for some time but am yet to fully understand its dynamics.

Actually dCity just seems complicated, but when you start to play it's very easy to understand. Of course there're some tactics and strategies everyone can choose. You only need to keep your citizens in balance employed / unemployed.
The game play in the beginning is somehow slow, but if you have some free hive to invest you can progress faster.
Best advice is to start with income cards only, not looking at education and creativity. There are some buildings with very good ROI. For example the Ad agencies, weed dispensaries etc... which will give your investment back after 100-110 days ;)
Overall, this game is one of the best passive income ways I've found during my crypto adventures, dating back to 2012.
Quick Question, while purchasing cards is it better to get 1st edition or 2nd edition or rather than the Buy option you suggest to use the Market to get the first cards?
from my experience...risking to buy random cards is not the best option (good only if you want to catch an expensive/ rare card to sell or use it)
basic homes
for population (because you need workers)job centers
from the market, they're cheaper and serve you well & also give you some needed SIM incomegive it some time... i played 3-4 months till feeling happy to upgrade my city and enjoy what's happening
and most of all...
may the new 2021 bring you and the people around you happiness, peace & health!
wow the city seems rather busy now, congrats!
thanks!
yeah it's growing nicely ;)
