Took some profits from AVA..got them back into HIVE !

in LeoFinance5 years ago (edited)

Well, short of.

The past couple weeks I am heavily dumping my liquid HIVE for other coins like AVA which had a nice fat pump today. So I figured to sell 100 pieces which netted me an 810 whole hive!

At first I thought to power them up to guarantee some extra curation rewards but then I said fuck it. Instead, I dumped about 500 something into new Dcity cards...And oh boy. I was glad I did, cause I had some fucking amazing rolls (i think!):

Then, I spend some more for basic houses & apartments and to get some cheap tech cards that I think will be useful. In the past I have talked about the amazing ROI of dcity and if things keep doing equally well it will take me about 4 months to get my money back in the form of SIM. Possibly less. And that without counting any techs or backgrounds I might roll! Or selling any single card I bought. Not bad!

On the other hand, powering up 800 hp would give me what? 80 hive a year? Yeah, dcity is riskier but gen-3 cards are coming soon so I think it has at least 6-12 months in front of it ;)

Here's how my new, refurbished city stands today, although I'll make some minor adjustments tomorrow:

Now.. what should I do with the rest 200 hive I have...Hmmm.... I know !

Those are some midget trades if I ever saw some

True. Trading is not my thing. These days I mostly find promising projects and invest them at their infancy. Like with leo :D

Dcity definitely has an amazing ROI. I mean, I'm nowhere near your city and yet I'm already getting 40cents daily. No proof of stake coin comes close.

Thanks for the LEO tip. :)

I saw those great rolls coming in and decided to do an optimizing of your city in my Dcity Helper post of today.

Seems like business is good, well it's always nice to take some profit in AVA especially when you bought before a nice run

I sold AVA as well, all of them and bought ORN. Don't know if it will go higher, or not, but it felt like it was overbought and couldn't resist profits... Maybe it's time for ORN to pump and I'll win both ways... if not and AVA gets to 60 cents again, I'm buying it one more time.

I bought some back at 66 cents. If dips further I'll buy more.

You can thank me for the AVA pump of today; It must have been my post about Travala I published yesterday LOL

AVA just so happens to be the name of my little one. What's that crypto about?

P.S. testing code things so leaving this comment to test the beem .get_parent() function of the comment class.

It seems like this HIVE sale is ending soon! I hope to get my hands on some too, though.
