You really don't need to vote with your feet at all, you just need to vote with your wallet and onboard your fiat onto the various different blockchains and crypto/DeFi projects that you have to choose from.
Then the government would actually have to provide a service, and ask for donations, rather than demand direct taxation through force and coercion.
Depends upon where you are.
In the United States, cryptocurrency is taxable.
So whether it is in fiat or crypto, the government still looks to get paid.

Yea any capital gains is taxable. The hunt for taxes to cover all the budget costs will be fairly crazy in the following decade. Don't forget the budget for the infrastructure bill is spread out over the next few years.

Yep.
And this is a global situation. All governments are doing the same thing.
They are totally fucked when it comes to their budgets. At least the US can keep printing without much ramification other than a continued slowing of the economy.
Some of the other countries (plus states), not so much.

Which one of them is easier to take though. Imagine if we collectively forced the government and the corporatists they are in collusion with, their true colors to the people they claim to provide a service to.
Here it doesnt matter. Many people are aware of the link, there is just nothing that can be done at this time. Monopolization of the marketplace is what happened. And the pandemic only made it worse since so many small businesses were destroyed.
The fact that crypto is starting to make a presence is really a game changer. Since this allows us to radically alter the financial system, that takes a huge chunk out of what they do.
