One of the biggest airdrops in #splinterlands history was the Splintershards, that is, #SPS Airdrop, which offered 400 Million $SPS tokens for players and lasted for a whole year.

SPS tokens were airdropped to asset holders on a daily basis over a year, which served as an incentive to hodl & accumulate more Splinterlands assets.

The year long airdrop ended in June 2022 and many splinterlands players cashed out thousands of dollars from the freebie. I was also fortunate to have claimed thousands of SPS then.

The SPS airdrop had helped put food on the table of many, as users have received airdrops worth millions of dollars in all. Play-to-earn blockchain games like Splinterlands have indeed become a source of wealth for many.

To date, some players airdropped #SPS have not claimed theirs and the unclaimed $SPS amounts to 33 million which is worth about $760 at today's rate. Maybe as you read this you could be among. See thread 3/8 for qualification.

The Splinterlands team is closing the window for claiming these tokens and the need to alert players who did not claim. July 26 is the date.
