I suggest viewing those remarks in context of two of the Fed board being ousted recently, and expecting that his worthless words will not reflect his CYA'ing in the face of Trump's active pursuit of a lower dollar and vast money printing, probably in the ~$10T range before he leaves office for President Vance.

It's not a joke, because it hurts to laugh.
