Gestern sind ziemlich dramatische Krypto-News hereingeflattert, aber man muss vlt einen zweiten Blick darauf werfen.
Bittrex stellt den Betrieb ein
Zunächst fing es mit der Meldung an, dass jetzt auch Bittrex Global den Service mit Anfang Dezember komplett einstellt.
Falls ihr dort Funds habt, solltet ihr sie asap von Bittrex abziehen.
Binance CEO CZ tritt zurück
Und die zweite Schock-Nachricht kam von Binance. Der CEO CZ muss sich schuldig bekennen, Geldwäsche auf Binance zugelassen und US-Sanktionen (Zensur) nicht ausreichend befolgt zu haben.
Weiters muss CZ als CEO zurücktreten, Binance eine 4 Milliarden Dollar-Strafe zahlen und sich komplett aus dem US-Markt zurückziehen. Die Auflagen gelten für 3 Jahre.
Binance wäre dann komplett vom US-Markt verdrängt worden, was vermutlich das Ziel der SEC/US-Regierung war, aber es gibt auch eine positive Interpretation.
CZ hat sich mit dem Deal praktisch freikaufen können und Binance Global kann das Geschäft fortführen und CZ bleibt Eigentümer von Binance und vielleicht eine Art Schatten-CEO.
Es gibt sogar eine vage Chance, dass CZ nach drei Jahren zurückkehrt und wenn alles gut verläuft, Binance sogar unter strengen Auflagen (Befolgung der Regulierung, Ausschluss von sanktionierten Ländern und deren Bürgern, AML, Zensur) wieder in den US-Markt eintreten kann.
Was bedeutet das für hive?
Binance ist die wichtigeste Börse für hive-Transaktionen in andere Kryptowährungen oder Fiat.
Mit dem Verdrängen aus dem US-Markt, wird es vor allem für US-Bürger immer schwieriger hive zu traden. Auch Bittrex ist für US-Bürger keine Option mehr.
US-Bürger müssen dann auf kleinere Börsen ausweichen oder OTC (over the counter) traden.
US-Bürger kommen zunehmend unter Druck. Sanktionen, AML und Zensur werden immer rigoriser durchgesetzt, auch im Kryptomarkt. In der EU ist es nicht viel anders.
Was sagt ihr dazu? Wie könnte man hive auf mehr Börsen bringen? Was sagt ihr zum Rücktritt von CZ und dem Deal? Gut oder schlecht für Binance?

Some pretty dramatic crypto news fluttered in yesterday, but you might need to take a second look.
Bittrex ceases operations
It started with the news that Bittrex Global will be shutting down its service completely at the beginning of December.
If you have funds there, you should withdraw them from Bittrex asap.
Binance CEO CZ resigns
And the second shock news came from Binance. The CEO CZ must plead guilty to allowing money laundering on Binance and not sufficiently complying with US sanctions (censorship).
CZ must also resign as CEO, Binance must pay a 4 billion dollar fine and withdraw completely from the US market. The conditions apply for 3 years.
Binance would then have been completely ousted from the US market, which was presumably the aim of the SEC/US government, but there is also a positive interpretation.
CZ has effectively bought itself out with the deal and Binance Global can continue the business and CZ remains the owner of Binance and perhaps a kind of shadow CEO.
There is even a vague chance that CZ will return after three years and if all goes well, Binance can even re-enter the US market under strict conditions (compliance with regulation, exclusion of sanctioned countries and their citizens, AML, censorship).
What does this mean for hive?
Binance is the most important exchange for hive transactions into other cryptocurrencies or fiat.
With the ousting from the US market, it is becoming increasingly difficult to trade hive, especially for US citizens. Bittrex is also no longer an option for US citizens.
US citizens will then have to switch to smaller exchanges or trade OTC (over the counter).
US citizens are coming under increasing pressure. Sanctions, AML and censorship are being enforced ever more rigorously, including in the crypto market. It's not much different in the EU.

Interessant wird sein, ob es nun zu einem Ausverkauf von HBD kommt, so lange es noch einfach möglich ist. Der Hive Token dürfte in nächster Zeit sehr gefragt sein.
Habe auch einen größeren Crash erwartet, aber man kann die News auch positiv sehen, Binance macht global weiter und kauft sich mit der Pönale praktisch von der SEC frei. 4 Milliarden ist aber auch nicht wenig.

👍🏻 It’s indeed a priority to list HIVE on other big exchanges as well like Coinbase or Kraken. Otherwise it will be hard to invest in Hive for „mainstream“ since new people often use the big exchanges. Who is responsible for that and how to do it is not transparent to me though. 🤷🏼♂️
hive on Coinbase or Kraken would be awesome, found this guide to listing coins on coinbase from 2021, think one factor is volume/demand and the other is decentralization/compliance with US regulation (censorship), both not surprising. With Binance withdrawing from the US, maybe there is an opportunity to succeed listing hive on coinbase.

Laut coingecko geht fast 70% des Volumen von hive über Binance, wobei man diese Zahlen wie immer mit Vorsicht genießen muss.
Am Ende des Tages muss hive es auf Thorchain oder Mayachain schaffen #defi

I don't think there will be much space for hive or decentralized tokens on the centralized exchanges. The regulations are going up and I think CZ stepping down doesn't matter too much. I feel like it was just an agreement to remove some of the liabilities. Maybe he did some sketchy stuff when crypto was in the early stages.

He fell on his own sword to save the company. He still has billions of dollars in wealth that would dramatically fallen if he had not done so. It was the smart move to make even though he will likely spend a year in prison. He will still have his billions afterwards!
