Krypto-Jobanzeige: Denkt ihr, dass Amazon in Kürze Bitcoin als Zahlungsmittel akzeptieren wird? Oder einen eigenen Stablecoin / Kundenbindungs-Coin launcht? Oder bedeutet das noch gar nichts?
Amazon sucht anscheinend in einer Job-Anzeige nach Blockchain-Entwicklern. Wozu genau ist allerdings nicht ganz klar?
Spekulationen reichen von der Unterstützung von Krypto als Zahlungsmittel auf Amazon bis hin zur Entwicklung einer eigenen Blockchain oder eines Stablecoins.
Würde Amazon tatsächlich Bitcoin oder besser sogar Lightning und andere Kryptos als Zahlungsmittel akzeptieren wäre das mega bullish.
ps. In der Zwischenzeit hat Amazon die Pläne, Krypto als Zahlungsmittel zu akzeptieren, wieder dementiert.

Amazon is apparently looking for blockchain developers in a job ad. What exactly for, however, is not entirely clear.
Speculation ranges from supporting crypto as a payment method on Amazon to developing its own blockchain or stablecoin.
If Amazon would actually accept Bitcoin or better even Lightning and other cryptos as a means of payment that would be mega bullish.
ps. In the meantime, Amazon has again denied its plans to accept crypto as a payment method.

Diese Nachricht kommt ja eigentlich jedes Jahr mal auf die eine Art und Weise vor, aber früher oder später wird sie natürlich auch wahr werden. Ist nur die Frage, in welchem Jahr dies der Fall sein wird. 😉

Good point, maybe Amazon just wants to add Bitcoin to their balance sheet. But still bullish.
Nope not really, the more institutional investors are coming in (due to deflationary character attractive enough) the more grounded the coin/token will be at the end. Lots of people complain about the high volatility of Bitcoin which actually is not so high anymore once someone is working full time in crypto and is used to handle tokens like ART (Maecenas)

Vielleicht dementiert Amazon auch nur weil sie vorher sich günstig BTC besorgen wollen.
Denk ich auch, Dementi sagt nicht viel aus. Langfristig wird Amazon auch was mit Krypto machen.
Ich sage, dass müssen sie, sonst kommt wer um die ecke der Sie da übertrumpft, auch wenns schwer wird. In D wäre da ha auch wohl nur erstmal ebay und da dort ja paypal integriert ist (zumindest noch) wirds es das dort ja wohl bald geben.

Stelle mir gerade vor, man würde bei jedem Amazon-Einkauf einen eigenen Amazon-Coin minen als eine Art Loyalty/Bonus-Coin. Aber wahrscheinlich geht das regulatorisch alles nicht. Aber wer weiß. Irgendwann vielleicht schon.
Das hat früher Rabattmarken geheissen, oder Sammelpass. Pro z.B 10€- Kauf bekommt man einen Aufkleber, wenn der Pass voll ist, bekommt man irgendwas gratis.
Das Prinzip ist ungefähr 100 Jahre alt. Warum sollte Amazon so etwas jetzt implementieren? Deren Strategie war es eher, die gesamte Konkurrenz zu vernichten, sodaß die Leute gar keine andere Wahl haben, als zu Amazon zu gehen. Amazon muss ihre Kunden mit solchen Aktionen gar nicht bei der Stange halten.
Naja Prime zähle ich zu so einer Aktion. Ohne Prime würde ich seltener bei Amazon bestellen und Prime habe ich wegen dem Streaming eher.
Und damit die Leute Prime nutzen, bietet Amazon immer mehr an, meist erst kostenpflichtig und irgendwann dann doch kostenlos. Also nur eine andere Art Bonbon.
Und Amazon muss ja auch zusehen das sie Vorreiter bleiben und nicht das jemand anderes um die Ecke kommt.

Klingt von der Grundidee gar nicht mal so dumm, einfach einen eigenen Token zu kreieren, der treuen Kunden dann ausgeschüttet wird und der auf Amazon (und zB auch auf Twitch usw.) als Zahlungsmittel akzeptiert wird.
Genau, und der Coin könnte dann vielleicht sogar mehr wert werden als Amazon 😂
