Imagine a Liquid Staked HBD

Now add the ability for the price to go up based on #lstr performance which itself is a leveraged play on #leo. That is what SURGE is doing on HIVE-Engine.

The price gains will happen when LSTR is trading above $50. Until that it is more or less a stablecoin like DEC. There will be some price volatility.

vsc has liquid staked HBD right now

does it generate yield ?

yeah, it's the same apr as HBD savings on Hive but you get sHBD which is liquid on VSC

and what does the being liquid give me ?

the ability to transfer it between accounts. for now, that's really it. could be used in defi stuff down the road

It does not have the upside SURGE offers and the current APR for $HBD is slightly lower than what SURGE is offering.

correct. it is liquid staked HBD though. that's what you were imagining. for sure i believe SURGE is a better option .

Is DEC still holding its value now a days tho?

It is not doing the best job, but it is doing okay: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/dark-energy-crystals

I think I have most of my DEC staked still... you know if it's yielding anything?
