Noticed it yesterday but didn't think of it as an issue.

It is not an issue for me. I can bear through some extra clutter. It might not be the best impression to make on the newly onboarded users.

It also happened to me, mine was even more funny it was uploading double pictures Instead of one.
This has been the issue from the very beginning. I actually get three notifications when someone replies and votes on my thread.
You're not alone on this one.
I get the same thing. It's pretty annoying.
