These are the same points I have be screaming about pushing for HIVE DeFi. We already have https://www.dlux.io by @disregardfiat and https://tribaldex.com from @aggroed and HIVE-Engine. What we lack is good incentives and a 2nd layer with smart contract capabilities. Even the need for smart contracts are not that high as we can put all the data on HIVE blockchain. But not everyone will like things that way.
