The challenge with this is the fact that cryptocurrency still has not found the "Killer DApp".
What if we theorize that Telegram cryptocurrency was exactly this. At the time Telegram had 400 million users and many active communities. It would have been at the very least 400 million cryptocurrency users tipping each other pocket money. Even that lowest assumption should qualify for a killer DAPP IMO.

That is true but the 400 million are not using cryptocurrency.
Will Leo's project reach that level? We will see.
At this point, 50,000 would be a major breakthrough.
