While I am no fan of Mr. Bukele (a dictator and tropical millennial), the truth is that time will prove him right, judging by the horrible money-debt debacle we are witnessing today. Come to think of it, it is a respite for the Salvadoran people that the institutions are denying access to credit to their government, judging by the sad history that these international banks have written on the skin of these countries.
