In my continued effort to bring you low quality, repetitive, cyclical, drivel on a weekly basis, in a change from the precious metals related rhetoric i usually bang on about, i now offer to you my loyal followers, a bang average #splinterlands blog.
Without much thought, or deep contemplation, ill be sharing with you few brave souls that have taken the time to read this post, my weekly BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge!. The "share your battle" challange has ended, where the @splinterlands team asked you to share a battle with a specific monster, and now its more about a specific ruleset. This new weekly challenge definitely has its upside, as it allows a wider audience to take part, even when their battle decks are limited.
This week, the team over at #splinterlands has asked us to share a battle with the ruleset "HEALED OUT". As the name suggests, ALL monsters lose thier abilityto heal! Whether that be self heal, or heal tank...... Thays your lot folk, no regeneration, youve got your health and lets gope it lasts.
This ruleset, can completely flip a battle on its head! Conventional battle plans go straight out the window, it also creates a whole new style of play. If, like me, you often like to play with monsters that have the heal tank ability, then youre s**t out of luck! Its a case of putting a monster with high health in the tank position, and hopingnit goes the distance.
Lets go play #splinterlands...... Its not like you can pick and choose the rulesets for every battle! After playing what seemed like my full allocation of 50 battles, i finally came across the ruleset i was waiting for:
But doing what #splinterlands does best, they threw a spanner in the works by adding an additional ruleset alongside HEALED OUT just to mess with my mind and really get me thinking.
Taking these rulesets into consideration and the limited summoner choices available to me, I actually decided that for this specific battle, with these specific ruleset, I would pick my tried and tested LVL5 Tyrus Paladium to hopefully use his shield abilities to give me that extra protection from any melee attacks.
As you can see, its not a bed line up!! Ive managed to fill all the slots available and use up all the mana points available for this battle.

Once the two teams are revealed, I always have a quick look at my opponents set up, before hitting rumble. I like to playout in my head how i think the battle will unfold. I try and predict what i think the outcome may be, and judge how well my opponents have set up thier team. For such a low mana battle, i think ive done quite well....
So can my lvl 5 summoner take out my opponents lvl 4 summoner?? Its going to be tough.... They definitely have some decent monsters out on display, especially in the tank position, but lets hit rumble and see how this plays out!!
The stage was set, two strong summoners, with great teams are sure to give a great battle.
That escalated quickly.... I was suprisee how fast my team made short work of my opponents tail end. Looks like this battle could benover as soon as it started. Lets see if they have a small revival in the latter rounds.
Round two carried off where round one ended..... My melee monsters picking off his tail, while my lvl 6 Enchanted Defender used thorns to slowly whittle down my opponents health.
This battle surely must be over in the next round? There Hauted Spirit, minus its healing ability is no match for my remaining attacks. With my lvl 6 Aerosmith continuing to restor armour, theres no way his one remaining monster can possibly win now.
Turns out it was a complete and utter blowout in the end! Luckily for me, his hauted spirit couldnt regenerate its health without "heal", if it could have, it may have been a differnent story....
I checked using the SPLINTERTOOL page, the battle shows me as having a 100% of pulling of a win.
