It is a half boiled egg that has been marinated with soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic and chilli. I had some left over from my Korean Ramen soup.
Oh, okay. This looks delicious. Now I know what a Korean egg is. Thanks for the explanation.
Sometimes, I simmer eggs in sauce- I boil them and add them to the stew or sauce to absorb all the flavours.
