Crypto: The future

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Crypto is making a lot of advances, being accepted globally as a method of payment and a means of exchange.
There are many,many cryptocurrencies out there as of now, and only a select few are suitable to be globally used.
Some of the criteria for these few are:

  • Relatively stable price
  • Low network fees
  • High transaction speed

For this reason, I have decided to compile a list of cryptocurrencies I believe can be used globally as a means of exchange;

  1. XRP: Low fees, fast transactions and relatively stable price make XRP a good option for global transactions. In addition, it has a huge market cap, so they're obviously not rug pulling anytime soon:)
    I'm personally not a fan of XRP, but because of the low fees and good support, and the fact that its actually scalable (unlike ETH), I believe it will do well in terms of being a means of payment.

  2. USDT (BSC and TRX networks): The network on which the USDT is based is important. Because TRX and BSC networks are scalable, and USDT is literally a stablecoin, USDT on TRX and USDT is generally accepted in most places as a means of payment already.

  3. Bitcoin
    Bitcoin does not fit the bill for any of the criteria I listed above. It Is slower than a snail, has extremely high fees and basically no new features. In addition, Bitcoin is super expensive as well. However, majority of companies start accepting crypto payments by pioneering with Bitcoin acceptance.

This is my list! What coins do you think will be accepted as payments? Let me know down below!

I appreciate your list, Usdt is a stablecoin, so I understand why that would globally be acceptable. But in cases where people expect to make gains on their trade and stuff, Non-dollar-pegged coins will likely win the spotlight...
