Congrats on the progress. So I suppose you expect the APR to remain in the same range of 15% for an extended period of time? It feels like a lot, but I know way too little about HBD to make any comments on it. So far it felt more like I'd be just flipping the few HBD that I earn as rewards into HIVE, LEO or something else, but maybe I should reconsider based on your post
Earlier (a few years ago) the interest rate of the Hive Dollars (HBD) savings was 20% APR.
Some of the witnesses wrote that both percentages are sustainable for long term.
I can only hope that the interest rate of the Hive Dollars (HBD) savings will remain in this range (between 15% APR and 20% APR) for long term (for years, for decades).

I have $4K in HBD savings.
That gives around $50 HBD monthly interest (with the 15% APR interest rate).
Nice milestone.
Probably I will reach that amount ($4000 HBD in savings) in the next year.
And because of the compound interest, achieving the double of that amount will be much easier.
