Your reflections on the 'fighter's state of mind' are particularly insightful. This mindset, born out of the need and desire to escape deprivation, is characteristic of resilient, tenacious, risk-taking people. It is a survival instinct that pushes one to strive for betterment, despite adversity.
It reminds me a bit of my story.
Your experience highlights the importance of empathy, particularly towards those who are struggling or less fortunate; your attitude reminds us that our actions and words can have a lasting impact on others, for better or worse.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Thank you. I think my childhood taught me a lot about what it means to be a true hustler. We understand social nuances and knew that if we didn't strive hard, we'd find it difficult to survive, let alone thrive. A lot of the lessons I learned stayed with me as an adult, and anyone who particularly had to survive beyond all odds would understand or relate to my experiences.
I still remember the little gestures; the good and bad ones. I still remember those little kindness that was shown to me as a kid, these memories often shapes people.
Thanks for the thorough observation and comment.
