KPI is an interesting concept and as you indicated, it can be a little more nuanced especially when compared to to desktop vs mobile. I do believe that interaction and commenting on posts should be considered on both platforms. Just upvoting is not enough as many have certain posters on auto vote. Commenting on the other hand is organic and one true indication of real interaction.
