Another name for "decentralized identity" is schizophrenia.
As with everything else Microsoft does, this looks like a top-down effort to control people.
But, they are smart to use the buzz words "open" and "decentralized."
"Decentralized" is the magic word at the heart of HIVE.
The effort has a not-for-profit foundation called The Identity Foundation. If it has a 501 3(c) then it must be good.
