How would they manipulate the price to keep it low? The only way to do that is to prevent people from buying cryptocurrency is to not process transactions that purchase it. I doubt they'd be able to prevent everyone from buying crypto from every avenue. Even if they found a way to do so, I'd imagine there would be some legal issues. Can a bank tell its patrons "you can't use your money to purchase x, y, z?"
