After launching the V2 platform and experiencing major bugs in their contracts, Slime Finance has finally announced that they are launching their new V2 farms and pools today, in about 5 hours.
V2 was launched on April 10 and was already granting their users the highest daily APR's in the DeFi ecosystem but unfortunately one day after launch, they found bugs in their contracts that presented issues to some people when unstaking. It's been about 4 days now and they finally got a second certificator to review their debugged contracts and have already set up their site with a countdown in their farms and pools.
Slime was born in February 2021, it was yet another PancakeSwap copycat in the ecosystem. I used them with caution at first and benefitted from their high APR's. Unfortunately their token fell abruptly due to the dips we had during March but despite of that their yield rates were above average DeFi platforms. One of the advantages I saw in them was that they removed the migrator code from their MasterChef contract which would not allow them to move the funds without user's permission. This potential security issue is found on PancakeSwap and many other copycats. I also saw that they were planning big and long term. If you look at their roadmap they plan to build many features in following months. This is what separated them, to me, from most of the DeFi apps.

Now to Slime V2. The Slime team has deployed their own LP tokens and contracts to become independent from Pancake Swap and not parasite from their success. Other reason to do this is to implement more complex deflationary policies and not only manual burning (See the docs). They are planning to automate AMM pools in the future and plan to integrate NFT's and games in the future.
I can't guarantee that this project is not going to make any bad steps but they have been working hard to deliver on their plans and they have maintained the community updated with the advances. This is a huge positive flag to all of us. You should check them out and enter early before the farms and pools fill up and you can grab a large APR while you can.
