You can still use markdown on long-form

Just on microblogs, that will be an exclusive feature.

You are far from needing markdown styling in microblogs. It's just fun to sometimes bold / color-ify / italicize text.

X does this as well.

Hmm, yeah that makes sense. Though why can i still change to bold and italic just by adding the "code" to the text.
