Greetings to all automotive lovers,
Of course we all know that creating something requires a process, and over time it will all become history.

And on this occasion, we will look at the history of the birth of the VW Beetle in the 1930s.

Did you know that the idea for the VW Beetle came from Adolf Hitler.

The VW Beetle started with Adolf Hitler's idea to make an affordable car for the German people or workers.

Ferdinand Porsche was the one who was sent to design this car, and later this car was called by Adolf Hitler as the 'people's car' which in German is volks wagen.

At that time, VW, which was not yet named the Beetle, which had an engine behind it, was named Type 1.

This car was sold in a used condition due to World War II, but some cars are still made new for military officers.
Another fact, Hitler was the first to have a convertible VW Beetle.

History continues, at the end of World War II the VW factory was finally controlled by the British.

Then at the end of 1946, more than 10,000 cars were produced.

The next achievement is one million units of cars were successfully sold.

1959

This VW Beetle or VW Frog was once an icon of the 'Small is Beautyfull' tag line aka ''small is beautiful'.

It started with the idea of advertising this small car in the United States.

This idea is the work of William Bernardo of a New York advertising agency called Doyle Dane Bernback.

VW has a slogan 'Think small' or 'Think small (simple)'.

40 years later this ad was awarded the best advertising campaign of the 20th century.
