Lol, yeah enough salesman salt to sprinkle on my fish and chips! I know the guy though, it's the same dealership I bought some Audi's from and they sell other things like LR, Jag, Aston etc.
Those Arab dudes are mad...I've seen videos before...It's nuts. I wonder how many cark it. (Slang for die.)
Hey, I like me some JB007. I think the next release is the last one right? (Or at least the last in this series with DC - A fairly good 007 I reckon.)
I have no idea, but at least I've learned a new Aussie slang, to cark it. Apparently it's quite popular over there to turn cars onto two wheels, though being a desert, I guess there's little to crash into other than someone's sand castles XD
The next one is No Time To Die, which I might believe to be the last Daniel Craig one, though I'm really not sure about that. It looks pretty nice, though I swear it's not because of Ana de Armas in that very revealing dress. There's going to be a lot of cars in that one, including no less than 5 Astons! At this point, I'm just watching it for the cars alone.
Land Rover seems pretty proud that the baddies are hooning around in the new Defenders though. They're quite literally flying in shots of the new 007, and man does it look awesome. That crash was from the this video of a behind the scenes/ promotion.
They recorded this video of me driving to work...I get royalties.
Ana is alright, quite cute...I'll have to wait for the movie as i haven't seen the dress you refer to. It'll be a nice surprise going by what you say.
Yeah to cark it means to die. It could be a person, animal, plant, car, tool...Anything at all.
E.g.
He drove that car until it carked it.
Don't smoke so many cigarettes, you may just cark it.
Add that to your Aussie slang dictionary.
So, I guess this is why you needed a Land Cruiser, since Toyota's are pretty much the most indestructible cars in the world. Stop breaking them 😆!
On the subject of Ana de Armas' appearance on the next Bond movie, the trailers do make her out to be quite the badass. And that dress... You know those ones with the loose fitting silk, opening up down the chest, and showing a bit of bosom? Maybe it'll be a surprise once you see it in person, though it's making the rounds quickly on the interweb. Just make sure you don't react too quickly if Faith's around on movie night. I do hope she's doing well ❤️!
You think she'll be proud of the Aussie slang that I've learned from you thus far? There's cunt, billabong, mate, billy, and now cark. I think I've missed a couple, but still... So much for a word a day, right? I might just cark it if I'm taking in too much Aussie in a day, I think.
Ah yeah, those dresses...Faith has a couple.
Yeah, you're doing well with the Aussie terms. There's so many to learn though. Keep racking them up and before long you'll be talking like a ridgey didge Aussie cobber, fair dinkum.
Ridgey didge - Honest, true.
Fair dinkum - True, correct, genuine.
Cobber - Friend, companion, mate (Usually male).
Lol.
Lol, I'm learning now that you Aussies are weird. But least I've learned now what cobber means. Grouchy's a cobber of yours, I've seen that been used. The other two... Well, it's a toungue twister enough to pronounce.
Australians, weirdly, are the most awesome beings on the planet. Universally loved.
Fair dinkum.
Ridgey didge!
I had to look that up, just in case I misspelled it.
