To what end? Taxpayer-funded reconstruction of the old wing? No, I would expect it to be gutted and turned into staff offices of some sort. It'll be pitched as responsible use of Trump's decadent space.

I just don’t think that any Dem would be able to secure the party’s nomination without an explicit promise to destroy everything that Trump did. The Epstein Ballroom gone, his executive orders overturned, all of his stain wiped away.
Of course, all that assumes that there’s actually a free and fair election in 2028. Which is looking increasingly unlikely. Trump and his minions are certainly acting as if they expect to be in power forever.
