#1 and #2 combined constitute 27.35 million deaths per year.
All remaining 30 other causes of DEATH add up to 26.32 million deaths per year.
Notice that terrorism is second from the bottom on the list.
Now imagine if we spent half the money and resources devoted to "fighting terrorism" to combat cardiovascular disease and cancer.
Now imagine if people were willing to give up their essential CIVIL LIBERTIES in order to remove KNOWN CARCINOGENS AND CONTRIBUTORS TO CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE from their restaurants and supermarkets.
