Authoritarianism is evil, and I'll tell you why....oh, and The Meaning of Life....

Ok, so this isn't actually the meaning of life, fuck no.

But it is. Kinda.
This post all came into fruition, after watching Monty Pythons 'The Meaning of Life' last night.

Joy.
That is the meaning of life.
Not as the end result in itself, but the basis from which to launch your own personal interpretation to the meaning of it all.
Joyfulness as the default setting, the filter through which to see everything, and is the human default setting.
Authoritarianism has to quash joyfulness, just to survive...

I dunno about you, but joy only comes to me with a feeling of being free, and I cannot, for the life of me, work out how anyone can be truly JOYFUL, and in a state of joy, under the yolk of another.
Under an authority.

_It does not compute for me, and from my many observations of those who do seem to like and support authority, there seems to be a tangible lack of joy expressed in these people.

Joy is being happy enough to be silly, carefree, brave, and not defensive. Fear is not part of joy, the two cannot coexist together.

....and if this is true, then how can you not be in state of fear, if you are buying into the approval of an authority?

'Poor is the man who depends on the permission of others'

Fearing the authority puts you in a space that doesn't allow for joy to inhabit that same space.
Fear and joy cannot co exist....

I know from my own psychological mindsets, that the less joyful I feel, the less I see the funny side of life, the ridiculousness, the hilarity.
The love.

IF you cannot feel joy, yet enjoy having authority in your life, maybe it's time to reassess things a little?

If you cannot be joyful with your life, what are showing your peers, and teaching to your children?

That it's acceptable to not express the joyful gift of just being alive?
That it's acceptable to be something that you are not?
That it's ok to not laugh?
That it's ok to repress being you, for the approval of another?

Yeah.... fuck that.

'I'll smile at the devil as his (authoritarian) train, goes by...
and then I'll give him the finger.

Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me.

Sort:

F that for sure.

The Crimson Mutual Assurance set sail...

I feel that. I fear authority.
i am always misunderstood, and although i have an ethic that makes me beholden to a set of criteria that is much higher than "the law", the boys in blue see me as someone strange, and so are deeply suspicious.

i should leave this authoritarian dictatorship, but i need a place where there are people able to create things. High precision things.

So, what do i do? i need to stay here for my life, but my joy gets sucked away.

Have you seen this?

Some of them that work forces , are the same that burn crosses ,.. ugh !

Make that all of them , ... fuck i won't do as they told me !
