Well, I can avoid most of the "little petty rules worshipers" here and I regularly do it. That's why a post like this doesn't appear more often than once a year, and not even every year. Otherwise, I would be ranting and swearing every day.
Yeah, in time the opposite of that annoying, unnecessary pettiness will probably prevail through alternatives. We'll see.
