Claiming the Throne: Owning a Castle in Serfdom & Sorcery
The ultimate goal in Serfdom & Sorcery Discord Game is to 'claim the throne' or more specifically, owning a Castle. In this guide, we will discuss how to claim your own castle and the benefits of having one.
How to claim
To own a castle, the !claimthrone command is used. A Castle costs 10M DBLN. There are only a limited number of castles available in the game. As of this writing, there are only 166 castles left.
Benefits of owning a castle
Of course, this is not the end of your SnS journey, in fact you are just getting to the juicy part. While owning a castle, you can enjoy these benefits:
- The Castle owner is protected from pillager commands. Pillagers cannot steal from you and cannot even send wardogs to attack you.
- Castle owner receives share of withdrawal fees. When someone withdrew DBLN out of the game, you are entitled to a 3% portion of that fee.
- Allows the Castle owner to buy a megafarm and a dragonegg.
- Fortify other users. You can fortify other users to protect them from pillagers.
Buying a Mega Farm
Once you get your Castle, you can now buy a megafarm. A megafarm costs 100K DBLN. The command for buying a megafarm is !buymegafarm
Megafarms are equivalent to 10 farms or 10 production points. You can use a megafarm to produce one specific resource or you can diversify. To know more about Production in Sns, click this awesome link.
Buying a Dragonegg
You can also buy 1 dragonegg that costs 10K DBLN to guard your Castle walls. The command for this is !buydragonegg
Dragonegg takes time to be hatched. Dragonegg owners need to be active in the game and type in commands (!harvest, !fish, !forage etc.) in order to increase its growth count. You can check its growth in the !inventory page. When the growth value reaches around 11870, chances are, your dragonegg will hatch.
When hatched, you are now entitled to use the !reignoffire command. !reignoffire command reduces the HP of the target and takes some DBLN from them.
Fortification
Castle owners can fortify at least 5 users in a 5 day spam. The command for this is !fortify discord-user
Fortified users are protected from pillager commands (same as Castle owner) such as wardog attacks and steals.
Closing
S&S has Player-vs-Player and Play-to-Own elements that makes people hook in this game. And in all of this, Castles play an important part. Castles protect you from other players, allows you to attack them with your dragon and boosts your production with the megafarm. For almost 3 months of playing this game, I'm sure this is the most accessible and exciting discord game there is.
